Itinerary – City Tour Lima

📍 Day 1 : Miraflores - Huaca Pucllana - San Francisco Convent and Catacombs - Historic Center

Our tour begins with the pickup of passengers from their respective hotels, as long as they are located in central Miraflores. Once gathered with the group, we will begin this experience that combines modern Lima with its historic past.

The first part of the tour will be in the Contemporary Zone of Lima, where we will appreciate important buildings and residential areas that reflect the capital’s current life. On this route we will pass through the Miraflores district, visiting the famous Park of Love (Parque del Amor), a viewpoint facing the sea, ideal for enjoying views of the Pacific Ocean and taking impressive photographs.

We will continue to Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological complex built in the 4th century AD, which in pre-Inca times served as a ceremonial and administrative center. Its pyramidal adobe structure stands out in the middle of the modern city.

Next, we will head to the San Francisco Monumental Complex, a jewel of colonial architecture. Here we will visit its famous cloisters, the church, and as the main attraction, the Catacombs — underground passages that during the colonial era were used as a cemetery and today constitute one of Lima’s most fascinating spaces.

To conclude the tour, we will venture into the Historic Center of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In this place, surrounded by history and tradition, we can observe more than fifty colonial monuments and buildings. Among the most representative are: Plaza San Martin, Lima’s Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, and the majestic Lima Cathedral.

Once the visit is over, we will return in our tourist transportation to central points, close to the passengers’ hotels, thus concluding a tour that connects the best of modern Lima with the charm and richness of its historic past.
