Day 1 : Cusco - Qorikancha - Sacsayhuaman - Qenqo - Pukapukara - Tambomachay - Return Cusco
We will begin the tour with pickup from your hotel in the morning or afternoon according to your preference, as we have departures at 2 different times . Our professional guide will accompany you throughout the entire day. The first stop is Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun): known as the spiritual epicenter of the Tahuantinsuyo, here you will admire the impressive Inca architecture merged with the Santo Domingo Convent.
After finishing the visit at the temple, our tour transportation will take us outside the city to visit Sacsayhuaman, an imposing ceremonial fortress built with enormous stone blocks. From its platforms, you get a panoramic view of Cusco.
Then we continue to Q’enqo, a sacred site carved in rock that served as a ceremonial and mummification center. After this visit, we will move on to Puka Pukara, an ancient Inca military construction used as a strategic checkpoint.
We will end our tour at Tambomachay, known as the “Baths of the Inca”, an archaeological complex associated with the worship of water and spiritual purification.
