2026 Cancellation Policies – Nazca Lines Overflight

The Nazca Lines tour requires advance logistics for intercity transportation and the reservation of airspace slots. By confirming your reservation, the passenger accepts the following conditions:

1. Reservations and Payments 

• Confirmation Deposit: To guarantee your Cruz del Sur bus tickets and secure your spot on the aircraft, an initial payment (advance) is required. This amount is non-refundable and non-transferable, as it is used for the immediate purchase of bus tickets and payment of the flight slot reservation with the airline.
• Balance Payment: The remaining balance of $150 USD must be paid in full at least 48 hours before the bus departure from Lima.

2. Date Changes

• Request Deadline: Date changes are only permitted with a minimum of 10 days’ advance notice.
• Conditions: Any rescheduling request submitted with less than 10 days’ notice will be treated as a cancellation, since bus tickets and flights will have already been issued and processed. Changes are subject to availability and possible seasonal rate differences.

3. Cancellations By The Passenger 

• More than 10 days in advance: If the passenger cancels outside the rescheduling period (more than 10 days before), the amount paid will be refunded minus a 30% penalty for administrative and operational costs.
• Less than 72 hours in advance: No refund of any kind applies. Cancellation during this period results in total loss of the service.
• No Show: If the passenger does not show up at the bus station at 10:00 PM, they will lose 100% of the contracted service with no right to claim.

4. Weather Condicions and Force Majeure

• Air Safety: The overflight depends on visibility and winds. If the Control Tower closes the airfield, the flight will be rescheduled for the next available slot that same day.
• Weather Cancellation: If weather prevents the flight throughout the entire day, a rescheduling for another date or a refund of the net cost of the air ticket will be offered (the cost of the already-used bus is non-refundable).

5. Passenger Responsibility 

• Documentation and Weight: It is mandatory to present your original national ID or Passport. Likewise, if the passenger exceeds 210 lbs (95 kg) and does not wish to pay for the additional seat required for safety, they will not be able to fly and there will be no refund.
