Day 1: Cusco - Cusipata - Checacupe - Predio Anta (Atvs)- Red Valley - Rainbow Mountain - Return Cusco

The best part of the tour: Guided tour of Rainbow Mountain Atv + Red Valley

Over View – ATVs Rainbow Mountain + Red Valley – Pitumarca Short Route

The Rainbow Mountain ATV Tour is the most exciting and efficient way to conquer the summit of Vinicunca (5,036 m.a.s.l. / 16,522 ft). This full day combines the adrenaline of riding through Andean terrain on Honda ATVs with a short hike at great altitude, significantly reducing the physical effort of traditional trekking and making it more accessible and fun.

This adventure route offers a double geological spectacle:

Adrenaline Route: Feel the thrill of riding your own ATV through open high-mountain landscapes.

Double Reward: Enjoy spectacular views of the Red Valley (terracotta-colored mountains) and finish with a short hike that takes you to the summit of the 7-Color Mountain (Vinicunca).

📍 Day 1 : Cusco - Cusipata - Checacupe - Predio Anta - Red Valley - Rainbow Mountain - Return Cusco

The adventure begins very early, with the flexibility to choose between two departure times (4:00 a.m. or 5:00 a.m.). We will start with a hotel pickup and head to Cusipata, our first stop. Upon arriving in Cusipata, we will enjoy a delicious Buffet Breakfast and right after, our Bilingual Guide will give an informative safety briefing and tour details.

After refueling, we will continue by vehicle for nearly two more hours to the station known as Anta (or Red Valley). Here you will be handed your Honda ATV and safety gear. After a brief practice session to get familiar with riding, we will begin the exciting ATV route, which takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes round trip to the Red Valley viewpoint. At this high point, you can take stunning photos and videos of the terracotta-colored mountains.

Once the ATV route is complete, we will begin a 30-minute hike to ascend to the summit of the 7-Color Mountain (Vinicunca), where we will enjoy breathtaking landscapes at 5,036 m.a.s.l. (16,522 ft). After enjoying the summit, we will hike back to the ATVs and ride back to our vehicle.

Finally, we will return to the restaurant to enjoy a well-deserved and delicious Buffet Lunch. After the meal, we will begin the return journey to the Imperial City of Cusco, wrapping up an epic day of adventure at a central point in the city (between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., depending on the chosen departure time).
