This is a half-day cultural and nature tour (approximately 4 hours) departing from and returning to Puno. The day begins at approximately 8:30 a.m. with pick-up from your hotel. The group will then proceed to the port to board a tourist boat on Lake Titicaca. The tour focuses on the Floating Islands of the Uros, where the guide will explain the process of constructing and maintaining the islands using layers of totora reed. Two islands will be visited, allowing passengers to interact with local families, learn about their homes, and discover their economy based on totora reed, fishing, and handicrafts. During the visit, you will have the option of taking a short ride on a traditional totora reed boat (cost not included). The tour concludes with the return to the port of Puno and transfer to the city center at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Itinerary – Uros Half Day
Day 1 : Puno - Lago Titicaca - Floating Islands of the Uros – Return To Puno
We begin the tour by picking up passengers from their hotels in downtown Puno at approximately 8:30 a.m. Once everyone is gathered, we head to the main port, where we will board our boat to begin our journey on the stunning Lake Titicaca. At approximately 9:10 a.m., we depart by boat towards the breathtaking Floating Islands of the Uros, constructed entirely from multiple layers of totora reeds. During the trip, you can enjoy the tranquility of the lake and its unique landscapes, while the guide shares cultural and natural facts about this place. We will arrive around 10:00 a.m. to visit two floating islands, where local families will warmly welcome us and show us their customs, homes, handicrafts, and the amazing way they keep their islands afloat. You will also have the option of taking a ride on the traditional totora reed boats (optional, separate payment of S/ 10.00). After this cultural experience, we returned by boat to the city of Puno, arriving at approximately 12:30 p.m. with a transfer to the center, where the Plaza de Armas is located, thus ending the tour.

To confirm your Uros Half-Day tour reservation, the following conditions apply:
- Deposit: A non-refundable down payment of $5 USD per person is required to secure your spot.
- Balance: The remaining balance must be settled at least 24 hours before the tour begins.
- Last-Minute Bookings: We accept reservations up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.
- Cancellations by the Passenger
- More than 48 hours’ notice: You will receive an 80% refund of the total amount paid (excluding the non-refundable $5 USD deposit).
- Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refunds will be issued due to pre-arranged operational costs and logistics.
- Cancellations Due to Force Majeure
In the event of cancellations caused by external factors beyond our control (strikes, road blocks, natural disasters, or service suspensions at Lake Titicaca):
- A 90% refund of the total amount paid will be issued.

Some islands have basic restroom facilities; however, we strongly recommend using the facilities at the port before departure.
